East Arkansas Rice and Soybean Production Clinic set for Feb. 10

  • Rice and Soybean Production Clinic set for Friday, Feb. 10, at Lon Mann Cotton Research Station on Highway 1 south of Marianna, Ark.
  • Clinic will begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at noon.

The Lee, Monroe and Phillips County Cooperative Extension Services will conduct a Rice and Soybean Production Clinic on Friday, Feb. 10. The clinic will begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at noon at the Lon Mann Cotton Research Station on Highway 1 south of Marianna, Ark. Lunch will be provided.

Speakers will be University of Arkansas specialists Bobby Coats, Chuck Wilson, Yeshi Wamishe, Leo Espinoza, Glenn Studebaker, Camme Fell and county Extension agents. Topics include: marketing, planting rates, seeding rates, varieties, disease control, weed control, insect control, fertilization, hearing loss prevention and agribility.
