Kinze launches multiple unit rebate program

For the first time in the company’s history, Kinze Manufacturing has launched a Multiple Unit Rebate Program that can provide corn and soybean growers with a 2 percent rebate on their purchase of a Kinze planter.

Growers can now receive a rebate of 2 percent of the base machine list price of their planter purchase. This new program runs from June 15, 2009 through May 15, 2010.

There are two ways for growers’ purchases to qualify for the Multiple Unit Rebate Program:

1) Purchase multiple new Kinze planters within the program time period.

2) Within the program time period, purchase a new Kinze planter and one or more of the following:

• New Kinze Harvest Commander grain cart.

• New combine of any brand.

• New tractor of any brand (must be at least 175 horsepower).

Susanne Veatch, the vice-president and chief marketing officer at Kinze Manufacturing, said the company is excited about this new program.

“We’re offering these rebates because we understand farmers are facing a challenging year in terms of profitability for 2010,” Veatch explained. “Many of us at Kinze, including my family, have a personal farm operation so we understand the toll that today’s economic conditions are taking on the nation and on our fellow farmers.”

Many Kinze planters qualify for the Multiple Unit Rebate Program. Eligible planters include new and unregistered Air Seed Delivery (ASD) and Seed Delivery System (SDS) models of the 3600, 3660, 3700 and 3800 planters in dealer inventory. Additionally, all 3600, 3660, 3700 and 3800 planters, including ASD models, scheduled for 2009-2010 production are qualified.

Growers can visit their local Kinze dealer to see all of the eligible planters. Kinze dealers can also provide more information about the Multiple Unit Rebate program and the various ways the rebate can be applied and/or received.

“We created this rebate program to encourage even more crop producers to use the industry’s best products in planting and grain carts,” Veatch said. “It’s a piece of good news for corn and soybean growers that we’re pleased and proud to share.”
